Michael's Story
Wow. I'll try not to bore you.
High School wasn't the best years of my life, however, that places me in with a group that didn't necessarily enjoy those years, but endured them.
Recently, I had a chance to send a note (via another site) to a former history teacher from high school. Linda Duke. It's hard to reconcile that many of our teachers have either retired, or passed away. I remember Ms. Duke as young, sexy, well, let's just say that she was one of the hottest teachers in high school. Now, she's retired.
After high school, I spent 4 terrific years at Allegheny College in beautiful Meadville, PA. Really enjoyed those years. Majored in Economics.
Took a year off and went to Fairleigh Dickinson University for my MBA. Fellowships are nice for grad students.
After finishing with this fabulous education and a horrible economy in 1982, I decided to try (quickly) a few months in retailing. Always enjoyed that. Didn't last too long and I moved over to ADP. Spent the better part of 14 years there.
Oh yeah. Married a great lady from New Providence (introduced by one of my grad school fellowshipee friends), but it didn't work out. After 6 years we divorced. I believe she's working for GE in Cincinnati. Hope she's doing well.

he great love of my life. Jane. She has two children from a prior marriage and since, we've added two more. Add to that two dogs, a turtle, a chinchilla, and a bearded dragon (yep, just like Matthew Broderick in, "The Freshman"), and we have quite a time. All of this with a wife who didn't want any pets.
I didn't move far from Springfield. Currently (and for the past 14 years) we live in Roseland, NJ. After so many years spending the summer months at the NJ shore, we are now spending time at our pool in the backyard. My dogs surf on bogey boards in the pool and eveyone has a good time.
After a stint with Marsh & McLennan as their Director of HRIT, I've since moved back into consulting. Oracle/PeopleSoft has been my specialty. I had a business for a while. A company like the geek squad, but they come to your home and business. Also, much more knowledgable and professional.
Finally, after so many years of saying that I have not had any interest in seeing or finding people I knew in high school, I guess I've mellowed. If you're interested in a quick email, chat, or even meeting up sometime, just drop me a line. I can also be reached at
