Michael's Story

Life After FHS, spent 25 years in the broadcasting business. Did everything from be the all-night disc jockey on an FM station in Tulare (back when "FM" stood for "Find Me"!) to vice president of Westinghouse Broadcasting then owner of my own stations in Bend, OR. Finished with broadcasting, I went into consulting, then got enrolled in a "transformational" personal effectiveness seminar which turned out to be life altering. I became a personal effectiveness trainer for Lifespring, Vistar, the Trium Group, and others. Some trainings were for the public, others for private companies. eece, Italy, Spain and Austria, and had the opportunity to coach thousands of people in creating the life they want. In early 2000, I spent about three months in Europe doing a series of change management workshops for Nokia. Over the years I spent a considerable amount of time in Hong Kong and China. Now I write books and narrate courses about amateur radio -- our license courses, The Fast Track series, have become one of the leading sources of amateur radio education. I live in Lake Stevens, Washington, a tiny little town north and east of Seattle, and share my life with my wife, Kerry and various pets. Our three kids are grown and off at college.
