Michael's Story
Life
My Spouse
bought the house next door and I was being a good neighbor helped her do some stuff around her house and we fell for each other.
Its nice to be with a type B personality since I'm a type A and. I think the biggest surprise in my life next to a divorce was the fact that even after a crushing experience I could be happy again happier than I ever imagined and I learned that both people in a relationship have to take a proactive roll in the preservation of a marriage and not to let one or the other make all the decisions and just go along for the ride. Thats a mistake I won't make again. I commute to work by bicycle most of the summer and we do 30 to 50 mile rides on weekends as time allows. We try to do a couple of organized rides each summer and I also have restored several old bicycles.
My wife recently retired from a job she had held for 31 years although she retired from there she didn't want to leave the workforce entirely. She went to work part time at World Vision, the Christian relief organization. We both feel its more Gods call tha...Expand for more
n a job and she really enjoys working there. My life at 55 is so enjoyable I think mostly cause I have finally let go of a lot of bitterness I held for many years that has helped me in my relationships with those around me I care about the most.
My Kids
The two oldest are from my first marriage, Carolyn the oldest is a dental assistant. Dan recently went back to college to get his degree in waste and drinking water management and he is married to Jennifer who works for the EPA in Seattle and the third one is my step daughter Angelea and she is in her first year of college on the way to being a Pharmacist or perhaps a physician, she hasn't decided for sure.
My Job
Tool and Die maker at Boeing.
If I won $100 million, I'd give at least 10 percent of it to my church, then spend the rest on making sure my kids were taken care of, then I would pay off all the bills sell the house and make sure I had enough to survive on and do some mission work with World Vision and Habitat for Humanity and Samaratins Purse
Boy its weird to get dissed on classmates Oh well.
