Michael's Story
After graduation I married and enlisted in the Army. Served for more than 6 years as a bomb disposal technician. After leaving the Army I became a St. Paul Police Officer and served for 20 years. Had a lot of good jobs while there and finished up as a Task Force Agent on the DEA Task Force. Retired from SPPD in1999 with a medical disability and took up teaching flight school at Inver Hills Community College and at the St Paul Airport. In April 2001 I took a job as a pilot with Mesaba Airlines. I am still employed with an airline, although now I spend most of my time teaching and fly only several days per month. having three children together. I now have 6 grand children. I remarried in 1997 to my current wife, who is an ER Doc at Regions Hospital. We both love dogs and recently had to say goodbye to our best friend Watson when cancer took him from us.
My wife, Mary, and I talk about retiring. Probably when we turn 65. Thinking about the pacific northwest as a possibility for the next chapter in our lives.
2018: We moved to Vancouver, WA and love the area!!!
To anyone who is reading this, you must not have much to do. I hope you are well and please take care. I have some very fond memories from the years spent in that old rickety school building with all of you.
