More about Michael:"Before leaving NJ in Aug of '08, Mike was recording in his home studio and performing keyboards as part of the 1910 Fruitgum Co. Now living in the Tampa Bay Area, Mike is currently playing keyboards and bass with an assortment of bands. Keyboards/Bass/Guitar/background & lead vocals. Mike was born in Buffalo, New York but moved to New Jersey at an early age. Mike grew up singing and playing music with his father who was a member of his church choir and the Barbershop Harmony Society - "Dapper Dans of Livingston" (NJ). Mike played trumpet and baritone horn with his school band and was a member of his church choir, high school choir, college choir and the USAF Male Glee Club at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Miss. c guitar. He began playing in rock bands at age 13. Mike's major in college was music education. After serving in the military, Mike became a member of the Pop Explosion band and traveled with them extensively on the road. They had a Billboard top-40 hit single called "Fill My Soul". Mike has continued performing in Top-40, Rock and R&B bands such as "Denver West", “Freedom", "Prime Time" and “The Class of ‘57”. Mike has been involved in the music business for more than 40 years. Before leaving NJ for Florida in August of '08, Mike was recording in his Pro Tools home studio and performing keyboards as a member of the 1910 Fruitgum Company, who had multiple gold records in the late sixties ("Simon Says" & "1-2-3 Red Light"). He co-produced, in his studio, 1910's Christmas CD ("Its A Bubblegum Christmas"), which was released in the fall of 2007. While traveling with 1910, Mike had the opportunity to perform with, as well as accompany, many top artists including: The Coasters, Mitch Ryder, Ron Dante (Archies), the Vogues, The Grass Roots, Davey Jones (Monkees), Jim Yester (Association), Bo Donaldson, Eddie Brigatti (Rascals) and Dennis Tufano (Buckinghams). Now living in the Tampa Bay Area, Mike is retired after 33 years with AT&T. He is currently performing keyboards and bass guitar with various various local bands.".
