Life
Where do I begin! It sure seems a long way from that little school in Woodruff to making sure that airplanes don't fall out of the sky. Who would have thought it. I didn't. Currently living in Savannah which is a nice cross between Woodruff and Atlanta, where I lived for over 10 years. With the help of a little Jimmy Buffet and a snorking trip in Key West, I discovered sailing. Have captain's license, will travel. I've sailed the entire east coast from Southwest Harbor, Maine to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. In fact I was driving a boat on a delivery down the East River in New York City one week before the trade centers were hit. Way too close for comfort. I thought it was time to update this profile. Since this last post I got frustrated with engineering and quit to go work as crew on luxury boats. That lasted a little over a year as I slowly went broke, so halfway across the Atlantic I called my old friend at Gulfstream and got my job back. But what a ride it was. Worked on a 155 foot wooden sailboat, took a 72 foot power yacht through the panama canal, and crossed the atlantic on a 46 foot sailboat. When I got back to Savannah, I finally found the perfect women and last June we were married. She keeps me grounded while still letting me feed my inner child that has never went away. Hope all is well with everyone... and happy new year.
