Michael's Story
Life
It's been a long road since graduation in 1974. After a freshman's year worth of classes at IUPUI, I began accepting jobs in other locations and never finished. I've lived in Nashville TN, Washington DC, Hilton Head SC, and from 1990 to 2008, I lived in Dublin OH. My wife and I recently moved to Seattle, WA for a change of lifestyle.
In the mid 80s, I discovered that I was a propeller head and needed to select a career in technology (which is what I've been doing ever since). In 1992, I started up a small software company out of the basement of an apartment with no customers or money. 5 years later we had grown to 50 ...Expand for more
employees and I sold it to a public company.
After a few years of not doing much except losing money in the markets, in 2001 I founded a computer network security and management firm (Cerdant, Inc). We currently supply services to over 1000 customers in all 50 states and a couple of foreign countries.
I was married to my wife Judy in 1988 and we have no children (just 2 cats).
I don't have many hobbies. I have a pilot's license and play raquetball a couple of times a week. We love to travel and we spend most of our spare time and money on that.
Update 2021: Sold company after 20 years - moved to Montecito, CA - retired
