Michael's Story
Life
Well let's see I was born in Manchester UK came over here on the Queen Mary when I was 5. Lived in Berlin and went to Berlin High, moved back to the UK a few times, kept moving back to Berlin (don't ask). Got interested in electronics and computers when chips where large and expensive and computers used card readers. Got married, had kids started a computer company, closed that one started another, just got bought out, may start another one. The kids are starting to leave and go to college.
I have diabetes and had a rough patch a few years ago going blind in one eye (one eyed programmers are just not in demand). Thanks to the miracle of modern science and my eye doctor that doesn't drink coffee I r...Expand for more

Generally I love life, and am the eternal optimist, I have simple needs. My latest hobby is playing pool until the snow melts and I can go kayaking again. My son and I are rebuilding a car this summer so that is a lot of fun. I still go out and have fun meeting new people and hanging out. I like music and follow a bunch of local bands as well as attend a lot of concerts and plays with my daughter.
I still have a passion for my work which is designing computer systems and developing software, building successful businesses.
