Michael's Story
Grew up in Odessa and attended St. Mary's for elementary, Bowie and Nimitz for junior high and Permian high school.
Went to college for a year at OLLU, then finished at St. Mary's with a degree in Philosophy. Attended grad school at Boston College but left before finishing. Was a teacher for one year at Adam's elementary in Harlandale ISD...Expand for more
in San Antonio. Worked at Inner City Development and the Downtown Youth Drop-In Center in San Antonio before moving to Dallas. Worked at Bending Oaks High School before going into higher education. Have worked in colleges and universities in DFW, Boston and now Austin. I have also worked a few years in non-profits like SAAHC and NSHMBA.
