Life
Hello all you MSHS alumni! Along with several others from Mah-Sey, we are holding the fort down in the much larger Mahomet of 2004!
We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary on August 18, 2004. Twenty-five years...who'd have thought! :)
We have three beautiful, healthy children: a daughter Jordan, 24 married and living in Albuquerque, NM; a daughter Savannah, 20 who just completed her first year studying Music Business/Music Performance at ISU; and a son Austin, 16 who is a sophomore at MSHS. He keeps us busy with marching band (percussion, what else!?), football, jazz band and baseball. Ginna has managed to be employed by all but one of the major employers in Champaign County over the years: US Army Corps of Engineers (CERL), Carle Clinic Association and the University of Illinois, in computer training. Mike has worked for the school district in Mahomet for over 10 years, currently the head custodian at the Junior High School. sive coach. He still plays music from time to time but not in a steady band since the Blue Diamonds broke up in the late '80's.
Ginna's sister Lynn lives in Geneva, IL where she teaches choral music at Geneva grade school. She is divorced and has 3 kids, 18, 16 and 13. Shelley lives in rural Seymour and is married with three children, 15, 13 and 8. And "baby" Erin now also lives in Mahomet with her husband, Greg Fulk and three children, 8, 6 and 4. She and Greg both work for State Farm in Bloomington. Ginna's dad (Virgil Mahin) is retired and lives in Casa Grande, AZ with his wife Doris, nine months out of the year. He stays busy playing music 6 days a week! Mike's mother, Joanne lives in Mahomet and stays busy helping Mike's sister Julie (Wascher) Clapper with her three kids, 14, 10 and 6. Mike's brother Bob has lived in the Bradenton Beach, FL area for several years.
