nist, am very spiritual, but not religious, very close to my daughter, our only child, don't socialize much, but like to, enjoy hot weather, dislike cold weather (and I live in Illinois?), find comfort in familiarity, have been with my wife for 34 years and she still puts up with me! I don't like haircuts, am fond of the 50's and everything 50's America stood for, I'm a peacekeeper and dislike arguing. I have lots of nervous energy and bore easily, but most people who know me will say I'm very laid back and easy going. I wanted to be an architect but education lacked technical teeth (does it ever) and ended up in engineering because I have a geeky side, so I'm an engineer who can draw well. I am good with machines, tools and hands-on tasks. I am an avid cyclist (licensed road racer in early 80's)".
