Michael's Story
Life
I was able to goto medical school 7 years after graduating from college. There was a little detour there working in computer graphics. Now I'm a family doctor in a suburb outside of Albany.
I stopped working out in 1981, after hurting myself in a marathon. Fooled around a little with running. Balloned right up- gained 110 lbs since graduati...Expand for more
on. Got serious about my health in the spring of 2001- started Racewalking again- too fat too run! I've dropped 50 of it since then. My second racewalking career is taking off- I've qualified twice for the Empire State Games as an open athelete (not masters/over 40!- not much competition up here). My goal is to fit in my old Ketcham letter jacket!
