Life
How does a Vato from East L.A. end up in Nashville, TN?
After High School I attended Musicians Institute in Hollywood. I played in various bands and in different musical styles like Rock, Funk, Top-40, even ÂRock-en-EspañolÂ.
I worked in various music stores and was a music major at Cal State at L.A. I studied song writing at a San Fernando Valley Music college, and met my significant-other-live-in-common-law-girlfriend.

L.A. bands. I studied design in the valley and took another trip to Nashville, because we heard this was the place to create CD cover art and design.
In Â98 we moved to Nashville and I got hired on as a designer at Saturn Corporate Headquarters in TN. Not the music scene but a cool place to work. Five years later my job ended, along with 3000 of my Saturn co-workers.
Today, I design for a Tennessee health care provider and freelance evenings/weekends with sleep in between. I still have the old musical equipment. ItÂs mostly accumulating dust. One of these days I will get around to finishing the songs I started writing.
