Michael's Story
I'm still living in Sacto, borderline Elk Grove. Went to UC Davis straight out of Burbank. Got married during my second year and had a kid. Transferred to CSUS (quarter system sucked) and got into the Computer Science program. Had twins just before graduating in May 86 (yup, 7 yrs of college...changing majors can do that to you along with having kids).
Got divorced shortly after graduation. So, I was a part time dad to three girls for 17 years (oldest is 27, twins ...Expand for more

I have three grandchildren. My grandson, Shawn, is 7 and his sister is 1. My other granddaughter will soon be 3. (Did I mention, kids are expensive.)
Remarried in 2000 to a wonderful woman who works in the medical field. She has one daughter who is now married and going to school part-time.
I've been a programmer analyst since graduation. I was in the private sector for 6-7 years and then went to State service for the last 15 years.
