Michael's Story
Life
Hello Stranger,
Well... I am still in high school; I guess I never really wanted to leave anyway. My wife and I both work at Appleton East High School. Together we do all of the Theatre, and coach Forensics and Debate. We put on huge musicals and straight plays which involve more than 200 students, and our last show just showed to more than 5000 people. Our forensic team has never placed lower than 3rd in the state, and we have won state 6 out of the last 9 years. And Debate, (which actually I do alone) consistently finishes in the top 5 in the state. Nationally in the past 12 years, our combined speech and debate program has not placed lower than 14th.

en in the starring roles for each other. 5 years later, we ran off to Jamaica and eloped. We have no children in our house, but hundreds that are with us all day and every day. I have 2 children from a previous marriage (Jacob 1/22/84 and Matthew 8/21/85), but they spend most of their time with their mother and stepfather in Memphis TN. I see them on holidays and in the summer. They have grown into wonderful young men.
Oddly enough I NEVER get back to Oostburg, but I don't find that I miss it. Once my mother died tragically in a car accident, I found no compelling reason to return. The memories are wonderful, and the stories that I am capable of sharing are terrific, but I just have not found the motivation to return to the small berg.
