Michael's Story
Life:
Moved to Southern Maryland in 2004. Working in Northern VA, right outside DC.
20 year Navy vet - retired in 2002 - Who'd have thought I'd be career military?!
I've been working on DoD contracts since 2002, IT Security mainly.
We are empty-nesters - about to become Grand Parents! (I am MUCH too young to be a Grandfather, but here it comes anyway!)

Hobbies:
High Power Rocketry - this isn't little Estes rockets - these are big, fast & high flying. I've gone 13,749 feet, and I've hit Mach 1.16. Biggest rocket I've flown was 70 lbs, 10.5 feet tall.
Amateur (Ham) Radio - been licensed since 1985, my callsign is N2GEG. Don't do much with it now, I have a radio in my truck, but the other radios for my "ham shack" are in storage in my basement. Mainly I'm using ham radio to track my rockets with GPS.
