Wendy's Story
Missed most of my last year in high school. Left Wisconsin shortly after graduation, moved around the states. No one really knew me. Here's who I am:
I am a Cuban nightclub.
I am Chicago blues,
velvet, and lace,
high heel shoes.
Sometimes I’m the sun,
always I’m the moon.
I am the siren’s song
sung ...Expand for more

Cynicism comes second nature
I’ve forgotten my first.
I’m less than the best of me,
but better than the worst.
I am every culture
that has ever been.
I am every joy
I am every sin.
I am laughter and tears,
a heart that can not mend,
as solid as the ocean,
as shifting as the wind.
