Michaela's Story

After graduation, I as many others went on our senior trip to Vietnam. In 1973 I married the love of my life and we had two children (a girl and then a boy) and while we were in Korea we also adopted a little girl. teaching, joining my wife at the local college. About 9 years ago I decided to quit being somebody I was not and began transitioning from Michael to Michaela. My family has stood by my side thru it all. I am truly blessed to be able to now live as the woman I have always felt I was.
