Michele's Story
Life
I am a single mom of a 15 year old, she is great but teenagers can be difficult at times, and now I have to fight off the boys from her!! I have been divorced for 5 1/2 years. I am a Human Resource Assistant at an Assisted Living Facility in Oregon, where I have worked for the last 7 years. I spend my free time with my daughter either walking along the beach, swimming at my sisters house or sitting around watching spook movies with my daughter, relaxing after a long week. *If I could do it all over again I would not have been so shy, I have found now that I'm older being shy is a waste of time. Let people know who you are, laugh, have fun, it's not worth hiding in a corner!
Workplace
My job at CherryWood Village: I transfered here from a sister facility and actually moved up in positions. Started out doing many different postions of assisted living life, alot of them not so pleasent! I love my job at CherryWood. I do all of the payroll roll, cut checks for 120 staff. Keep track of the employee files and such. This sounds boring but in reality there are always HR issues and it's fun.
