Michele's Story
I was in the choir in St. Philip's for 4 years and another 4 years in Saddle Brook High School. Since then I've also been in my church (Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Tenafly) choir for 31 years. In addition I've done weddings, parties, and sad to say, a few funerals as well. That's the only thing I hate I doing. I've never tried to go professional because I was always too chicken. rst time to Montreal with people who have been doing it for several years. It's going to take 2 years of long distance practice and even then there's no guarantee that they'll let me go with them because everyone has to carry their own weight and if they feel that someone can't do so, that person will be eliminated---no if, ands , or buts about it. If someone can't carry his own weight, it holds everyone else back. So needless to say, I'm really pushing myself and loving every minute of it!
