Michele's Story
I married my high school sweetheart Don Brown class of '70(Brentwood High School) in 1971. We have 3 beautiful daughters and 10 grandchildren. We have lived all over the country but now live in Georgia.
I have worked at many different jobs but find being a wife and Mom the most enjoyable.
I love to travel and do a lot of it.
I have changed quite a bit since high school.
Most people would be surprised to know I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour many years ago. HE has blessed my life tremendously over the years and has been my greatest strength.
I love traveling, which I do a lot of, and hiking, walking, swimming and the summer months, Sailing!
Let me know how you are all doing!
I would love to hear from people whose life has been radically changed through their faith in Jesus Christ!
HE is an awesome God!
Drop me a line and let me hear your testimony!
Would love to hear from old friends from the Island, also!
Update: 4/29/10
I was busy battling sarcoma cancer since last Sept. It was rough, but I am now cancer-free and thanking God for healing me.
Spending some quiet time recouping and healing up after surgery.
Take care!!
Michele
Update 4/14/11.
I have been cancer free for15 months now. So far so good... It was a miraculous healing because the doctors said I wouldn't surive and here I am feeling good physically and emotionally. Thank uou Lord.
Don and I celebrated our 40 wedding anniversary on March 27th, 2011. And they said we would never make it! LOL!
Still living in Georgia and enjoying the Spring weather. I have recently taking up geneology which I really enjoy.
I have been in touch with alot of old school friends, aquaintances, and remember the good (and not so good) times at St. Johns. It was all worth it though, because it all made me who I am today. (Saved by the blood of Jesus and walking in His love.)
Looking forward to maybe doing some traveling this summer. I would love to see my daughter and grandchildren out in Washington State.
Happy Spring, and have a Blessed Easter!
Live life as today is ...Expand for more
your last!
God bless you all,
Michele
