Michele (Mickey)'s Story
I moved from So Cal to Fairfield, CA the day after graduation. I spent 3 years making new friends and not going to classes at Napa Valley Community College. Needless to say, I did not go on to a 4 yr college at that time.
In 1967 I moved to Napa and worked as a cook in restaurants in Napa and Sonoma counties for 20+ yrs.
In 1990 I moved to New Mexico and attended UNM Albuquerque where I got a BS and MS in nutrition/dietetics and became a registered dietitian.

996 I moved to north Lake Tahoe and worked for Nevada Department of Education.
2004 I moved back to Napa Valley and worked as a public health nutritionist. I retired in 2010.
I became an avid bird watcher and gardener. My time now is spent hiking with a group of friends, kayaking and birding with Napa Solano Audubon Society friends and gardening.
I’m fortunate to have fantastic neighbors who have become good friends. We regularly gather for fun, delicious meals.
