Michele's Story
Well as the pacific northwest / West Seattle is the closet to a small town I could find and still be near a large city-it has been a great place to relocate to from Port Huemene in 1988. It is across Elliott Bay from downtown Seattle and has real wonderful neighborhoods. Lots of activities, parks and a beautiful waterfront.A place I choose to raise my 3 kids.Since I am such a water person it was the best of all world to live here. Best part is that most days I commute home via our Water Taxi Service from Downtowen Seattle Waterfront & free shuttle bus to my street. I have worked 20 yrs in accounting for a Non-profit Healthcare Agency " Neighborcare Health" look us up on the net.We provide neighborhood community health services through out Seattle. over 16yrs each Tues-Thurs evenings. Water babies to seniors. Now alot of my water babies are all grown ha-ha. I still enjoy working with animals as a volunteer but not to the capacity of college and afterward. Leaving HHS I went on to Moorpark College and took part in 2nd class of the Extoic Animals training & Mgmt Class.Working for Animal Actors of Hollywood & .graduated. It was a very busy time and I really enjoy working with Elephants & large cats ( tigers-leopards and Mt lions). The back up was a accounting business degree and I transitioned into that field as I got older with a family. Then I took the chance to fullfill a dream to live in the NW. Now I can do volunteer work with animals & rescue as weekends allow. Anytime you are in Seattle look me up. I will give you a delightful day in this wonderful city.
