Michele's Story

my story today is about one of my best friends from my years at Sylva-Webster, Robert Reed. I found out today that he passed away. Robert and i believed that super scrunch bars were absolutely necessary before you got all the way home from school. We believed that when we walked by the river in Cullowhee if we looked at things just right, it was a kind of fairyland. The love we had for each other...Expand for more
was deep and true, in the way that young hearts can love. i saw him several years ago when i visited my mom, and we kept in touch through email. As i struggled through changes in my life, he believed in me, and I felt uplifted by his encouragement, because he knew my heart. I will miss him forever. In honor of Robert, I hope to remember always that magic is real, and love is all that matters.
