Michelle's Story
Life
I am currently working as a Vice Principal and several other things that come a the end of my title at Normative Services Inc, a residential treatment facility in Sheridan Wyoming. I have been working here for 14 1/2 years. I am still single. However, for the past 14 years I have been a foster parent to 36 different teenagers!!
After graduating from Long Beach High School, in Mississippi, my family moved back to Wyoming.I went to live in Lansing MI with my grandparents for a year then returned to Sheridan. At the end of the summer I started College.
I pursued a degree in Elementary Ed at York College in Nebraska and Columbia Christian College in Portland, Oregon. Afterwards I taught 2nd grade in Campbell, Ca for 4 years.
At that point I had been away from family too long and returned to Wyoming. I was employed by Normative and have been here ever since.

ob working in the education department on the administrative team doing guidance counseling and manhy various other tasks. I enjoy my job which entails helping teenagers who have been in trouble with the law and are court ordered to change their behaviors. Look us up on the web at normativeservices.com
I have been a foster parent to 37 teenagers in the past 14 years. Through my foster-parenting experience I am the grandmother of three adorable granddaughters. They are 7,5,and 4. There is nothing that melts the heart more than having them run throught the front door yelling "Nana, Nana we're here." I have had so much fun do arts and crafts, hairdos and makeup!!!
I have had the privilege of traveling all over the US to attend different workshops and educational trainings that it has been easy to stay in touch with my Columbia classmates. Both last summer, winter and this summer I was in Portland for a week at a time.
God has really blessed me through the years with family and friends.
