Michelle's Story
I was born & raised in Yakima, WA. Moved to Vancouver, WA in 73 when Dad got transferred to Boise Cascade Portland Office. Graduated from Columbia River High School in 78.
You may remember my brother Kevin Geroux who was on the wrestling team
& graduated there is 1976. Also my cousin Craig Blankenship lived with us & graduated there in 1977. Poor mom & dad had 3 teenagers living in the house & being typical kids partying & raising hell, but we all eventually grew up into responsible adults.
Started working for the Corps of Engineers in Portland in 78. Transferred to USDA in 80 when I moved back to Yakima, WA. Fell in love & married my brothers best friend in 81. Lived in my hometown of Yakima, Wa until Brian joined his dads company business Concours Parts in Santa Ynez, CA in 94. If you are looking for 50-60 Ford Parts you can find us online.
I always thought I would retire with the government, but instead I took a year off work when we moved, went to golf school in AZ & played golf for the next 2 years. Got a job at the Rancho Maria Golf Course in the coffee shop in Santa Maria, CA where I got down to a single digit handicap. Moved the company business in 98 to Carson City, NV. Joined the other company business Golden State Parts in 2000 where I presently work.
I hurt my arm playing golf 3 years ago & am taking a break from golf for now. We took up fishing, boating, & camping as our new hobbies. Live on a golf course outside of Carson Cit...Expand for more
y, NV. We have a Yellow Labradornamed Tikaani that we got in 2002. She goes to work with us every day & is my constant companion. My parents live in Surprise, AZ & my brother Kevin presently lives in Prescott, AZ, but hopes to move to Eugene, OR where his wife Becky's kids & family mostly live. My Cousin Craig & his wife Kris live in Yakima, WA. Dad, Mom, Craig, & I took a 2 1/2 week trip through the South in 04/09 in memory of my younger brother Aaron who passed away in 07/08.. We shared many memories of Aaron, bonded as a family & had a family trip which we will never forget! Not much else to share about me, just working hard & having some fun on the weekends. I'm
sure this is more information than most of you ever wanted or cared to know about me, except maybe my old high school friends I am looking for!
I would love to reconnect with my old high school friends that I have lost touch with since high school. I have never attended a high school reunion & have wondered about a handful of high school classmates that were my friends back then. Let me know you are out there if you were a friend of mine, my brother, or my cousin. Oh by the way, if you are looking at my senior high school yearbook picture, I hated that picture & my hair. My mom experimented on my hair right before that picture. I cut it short before graduation that year.
