Michelle's Story
Life doesn't always turn out the way you'd expect... My husband, David, and I tried for years to have a baby, found out I was pregnant (finally) in November of 1998. Had a beautiful baby boy, Dillon, in September of 1999, then David was killed in October of 1999. Talk about a blow! We had plans, we had a life, we needed to raise this brand new baby! But, life changes, and I guess, so have I. I remarried in July of 2001, to a wonderful man, who loves the both of us very much. w, respected and loved Dave... so the neat thing here is that David is still very much a part of our lives. Not only because of our memories of him, but because our son, Dillon, looks exactly like David. What a blessing he is. Currently I am the Music Director for my Church, I love my job. I get to be creative and most of all, I sing for a living! I love to sing! So, you could say, I'm doing what I love. This position allows me to work from home, so I get to be here when Dillon leaves for school and when he comes home from school. Although I have my times when I miss David so much it hurts, I also know that I am truly blessed.
