Michelle's Story
After high school I moved with my husband to Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. We had a son, Ryan who is now 22 years old. We then moved to Phoenix, AZ in 2002 and have continued to live here in the Valley of the Sun. I never thought I would say this, but you really do get excited to have a cloudy day so you don't have to scramble to find your sunglasses. Keep in mind, when we have rain here it never lasts for days like it does in the midwest. Since we've lived here I remember only one time when it rained and drizzled for days. In the summer we experience dust storms (haboobs, yes that is really what they are called). er see myself living in the north ever again.
One of the reasons we moved to Arizona was due to that the degree I was working on was at ASU (of course the weather was another reason). I have finished my BS degree in Exercise and Wellness and have been a certified personal trainer for almost eight years. I am currently finishing my MS degree in Human Movement and have my own personal training program at a physical therapy clinic. Our son has blessed us with a beautiful granddaughter, Alexis, who is now 1-1/2 yrs old.
Unfortunately, I missed the last reunion since we had moved. Hopefully someone will post something here announcing when the next reunion will take place. I would love to attend if I have enough notice in order to arrange to fly back home.
