Michelle's Story

Life November 24, 2010 I am married, 25 years last month, and have 5 kids, mostly all grown. My oldest is almost 30 and my youngest is 19. I have 6 grandchildren ages 7 years to 1. We lost our fourth child and only daughter in 2009. Most of the years I was home with my kids while we home schooled all 5 and worked with my husband on projects and businesses. When my daughter (child #4) started high school she wanted to be in choir so went to public school. Zack was lonely doing home school by himself and the next year went to public school, too. So I went back to college. I have two AS degrees (Accounting/Paralegal) and an AA (GS w/ emphasis on microcomputer support). I have worked for the US Postal Service doing data entry, a small glass tempering plant as the IT department, a temp agency as a Word Perfect macro programmer for the Oregon Div of Child Support, and ...Expand for more
finally, in accounting for Wells Fargo Insurance Services. I am going to school to get my Bachelor's degree in Information Technology because it pays better than accounting and I can work from home or from wherever I want to go, hopefully.
