At a Dorian Gray concert in the school on Dec 13,1974. We have been happily married for the past 26 yrs. I know him for 35 years this year and May 31st was our 30th year as a couple.
My Kids
My daughter, Jennifer is 23 graduated from Boston University in May 08. Currently working on her BA in Early Childhood Education at UMass Boston. Also working as an aid in Brookline Art Center and teaching her own class on Mondays. Works as a waitress in the mornings and hostess at night in Cottonwood Cafe, sometimes the same days.
Workplace:
In July 2005, I got sick so I was unable to work so I have been unemployed ever since. But, I still work as a bookkeeper for my brother 2 nites a week
Love the Biggest Loser and watching the YANKEES!!!
My best friend would tell you I'm somewhat shy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as outgoing but nervous.
Loved disco wish it would come back although the shoes did. Yes I do own a pair of platforms and a pair of designer jeans
Yes I do I have a few bowling trophies for 1st place and for over 500 series
My first job was at Coyne Park Library, where I got paid 3.75 an hour to file and mend books. What I remember most about it is one of the women lives 2 doors away from me now.
Living in a building in the Bronx and having my grandmother throw money down from her friends window to me for ice cream. Also playing in the school yard next to the building which is known as Grace Dodge High School. W...Expand for more
e were around 50 kids on the block and all had brothers and sisters all the same age which made it easy to go from house to house and be comfortable with parents.
My oldes friend, Annette Volpe and I met in the first grade. We attended grade school together and one year of high school then my family moved. We sent each other letters and cards and to this day, we email daily and are still friends and one day hope to see each other (we live about an hour and a half away from each other and we both have busy schedules.
My hair style hasn't changed in the past 15 years. Its still short like a bob. Still dress in jeans and sneakers but when we go out to a function, out come the platforms.
I have learned to be very patient because life goes by very quickly. You have to appreciate your children for as long as you can. I have also learned that even with one child, my life wouldn't have been complete without her. She is my inspiration to being strong after my operations and along with my husband is my rock.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Richie Montemagno, because I had a huge crush on him in 8th grade. Wondering if he ever became a priest.
My current age is 51. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be semi retired. I was so completely stupid and wrong.
I share my home with my husband and my daughter when shes home from college, which I find comforting.
In 10 years, I hope to be a grandmother. I'm going to get there by hook or by crook.
