Michelle's Story

Life Peace and love to my Ben. Franklin friends. I've been thinking about some of you recently. And for the most part, i've thought about all of you that I attended Franklin with between the years of 84-87. I'm not sure about you, but I had fun at Ben Franklin. I met a lot of nice people, and I met some pains in the butt, still, I think fondly of you all. You were a part of my life during those years of yesterday. I'm married now for eleven years with no children. Maybe one day>>Do you remember me? I use to rap among other things. Tall, dark skin, soft voice. I'm not able to post a picture at this time because of technical reasons, but i'll find a way to do it soon. May God bless you all. Salaam Alaikum. School My biggest crush, Ha Ha Ha, forget about it!!! I won't tell. But the teacher who inspired me the most was Mr. Joell, one of the music teachers and band director. He helped me to appreciate the different styles and forms of music that exist. I remember how Dr. Spencer use to an...Expand for more
nounce over the loud speaker every school day in the morning, "Remember students, to always be good, look good, and smell good". One fun adventure that I remember was when Dr. Joell took the band to perform at The Franklin Hotel. Dondi and Norman and Ed and Azel, had us laughing so much that day. I miss those guys. Workplace First, in my late teens to early twenties, I worked with a lot of different managers and producers in the music industry. I've done backup vocals on a few albums but never made one of my own. I continued to run into problems when it came to me recording my own stuff. I did a few masters but nothing came of it. I was seen as too revolutionary at the time. I'm still rapping and singing and writing. I've been working as a nursing asst. work for a while. Over the past ten years I've written a few books. I've recently completed the fourth. I hope to have them published soon. One is a childrens book, one is a poetry book, and two are non-fiction. May God grant me success.
