Shelli's Story
Life
First of all I'm cheap, and so can't see who is signing my guest book, and it's KILLIN' me!!! A better way to communicate with me is on My Space. Go to search, then find a friend, and search by name for Shelli Rose - I'm the one in Silverdale, Washington.
Hmmm...my life bio...well, it's been a quick 22 years! I have 4 kids - Courtney is 22, Melissa is 21 (they both live on their own), Glenn is 17 and Cody is 13. Melissa has two children, Chris (4) and Makenzie (2), so I'm a proud Gramma, as well. I recently got in engaged at a lighthouse in Oregon to Anthony, who I had a big crush on at BPHS and found 20 years later right here on Classmates! I'm an Administrative Assistant for a home builder in Silverdale, Washington. I love reading (still love Stephen King and Tolkien), going to the drag races, shooting pool, and hanging out with my sisters and my family. I love music, anything from 80's Hair Bands to Tony Bennett to Green Day. I just moved to Silverdale, Washington (near Seattle), and am adjusting to the weather. I travel as much as I can, going to Vegas is always fun, or anywhere at or near the ocean. And then, my favorite - Disneyland! Whoo-Whoo! I'm almost 40 and the biggest Disney-Nerd ever...lol...
School
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...lol...but seriously, I have lots of good memories of BPHS. I c...Expand for more
ame as a sophomore after spending my freshman year at Bishop Amat. I didn't quite fit into any particular group, my best friend from Jones (Sa-Sa...lol...you know who you are) was still my bud. I tried to learn to play D&D with the gang in the library...Mando, Anthony, Harold, Ronnie Jackson, Trek, Chrissy..but I wasn't good at it. I hung out in Mr. E's art class 6th period when I was supposed to be in French class...that's where most of my best memories are. I remember doing an aerobic routine in Miss LaRou's (sp?) P.E. class to "Beat It" by Michael Jackson...lol...we performed it for the school, how embarrassing! I remember walking to 7-11 with Harold to play "Joust" at lunchtime, having Ms. Serrao for English while her mouth was wired shut for a whole semester, being Ms. Popovitch's T.A., having Anthony in Algebra and striking up a conversation because he was reading a Piers Anthony book...good times, good times. Unfortunately I didn't make it to graduation, by the time you all were wearing caps and gowns I was expecting my first daughter. Sometimes I'm bummed that I missed Prom and Senior Ditch Day and all, but I did eventually graduate from high school and I wouldn't change anything. Too bad I signed up for Classmates a month after the reunion! I would have liked to have gone, anyway, just to see everyone...oh, well, there's always the 25th!
