Michelle's Story
updated July 2008.....
Moved to Michgian in 1990 right after graduation. Attended Hope College from 91-95 - for my teaching degree. Eventually started teaching at a private Christian school until 2005. In 2003 I graduated from CMU with my MA in education. Then I changed career directions and have been working for an insurance company that provides benefits for many of the school districts in Michigan.
In 2008 my life took a new direction.... I met my husband, whom I married on A...Expand for more
ugust 16, 2008 and moved to Kansas where he is from. We had a whirlwind courtship - but was been full of long hours of talking via phone and IM and great long weekends together.
The hardest part of the move was leaving all my family in MI and my being able to watch college hockey (as I've had season tickets for the last two years)... I'm going to have to learn how to be a Mizzou Tigers fan in addition to my MSU Spartans.....
So one more move this time to the heartland of the USA.
