Michelle's Story
Life
Life hasn't always been easy BUT I have learned that all good things come to those who wait. On May 22, 2001, I married Rod Lynch who graduated from PHS in 1986. Rod and I now laugh about what it would have happened had we met all those years ago. But at least we have each other now and plan on it staying that way. Together, we are raising 4 boys. Trevor (Rod's) is 19 is out of school and learning about being an adult. Ethan (mine) is 14 and a freshman. Joel (mine) is 13 and a 7th grader. And Kenny 9 and a 4th grader. We are very busy with the boys...baseball, football, and work schedules leave little time for relaxing or being together as a family. But we do make the best of the time we do have together. Usually we stay at home and watch movies together. But on those rare occassions we do venture out, we go to friends to play cards, tell stories and laugh! :) I am quite the "Becky Homecky". I love cooking and baking for all the men in the house and taking care of them all. I am pretty lucky to have 4...Expand for more
men (young and old) to look after me and me them. My life has become more hectic and busy than I ever imagained. It keeps me feeling young most of the time. And I wouldn't change it for anything!
Workplace
I have wondered around alot trying to pick the perfect career. With much delight I have found the right position for me. I have found a position where I am able to talk all day long about music, movies and gaming. Here's the crazy part, I get paid to do it! What a great country we live in. I started with the Musicland Group in November of '02 at their On Cue location in Monticello, IN. When that store was closed in May '03, due to restructuring, I transferred to the Kokomo Sam Goody entering the Magagement Training program. On March 28th '04, I became the Store Manager of Sam Goody at the Logansport Mall Location. I am very excited to be in this position and come back to my roots. I work with a great staff who has made the transisition very easy. So if you are in the area...stop by and say hello!
