Michelle's Story
I joined the Air Force 13 years ago. I took the military entrance exam in high school...I think to get out of Mr. Comeau's Physics class. When the recruiter called my house to ask me to join, I told him if I broke a nail I'd want to go home.
Two years later, and a whole lot of water under the bridge, I joined and moved to Ogden, Utah. McKenna was born in 1997.
I finished my undergraduate degree in Utah and traveled to Alabama for Officer Training School. Since then, I've served in Nebraska, Maryland, Washington, Kuwait, and now at the Pent...Expand for more

I'm assigned to the Congressional Liaison branch...inally get to fill my passport.
During the past year, we've traveled to the Czech Republic, Morocco, Ghana, Liberia, Uganda, Kenya, Spain, Hungary, Poland, India, and Mexico.
I'll be at the Pentagon for at least 2 more years. We own a house well outside DC...the commute is never short of exhilerating.
The best part? I'm eligible for retirement in 7 years.
There are so many of you who color my memories of life in Mountlake Terrace. I remember the laughter most.
