Life I moved to Florida in 1977, after first going to California. I met my first husband(a foreign national) and married in 1979, divorced in 1986,(thankfully) no children.I began my love of traveling in 1978 with a trip to Venezuela(not my first husband"s home), with friends. During that marriage, I completed my degree in Nursing and worked in Daytona and Orlando.I subsequently divorced in 1986,and while living and working in Orlando, I met my present husband, a career Naval Officer, and we married in 1989 and vacationed in Cancun and Cozumel. We moved to Atlanta Georgia for 3 years while he was nuclear-power recruiting (shore duty) at Georgia Tech, and I was a nurse manager at Piedmont Hospital.We then moved back to Florida,(Jacksonville), where his next assignment was on the USS Saratoga, a aircraft carrier. At that time (1991), I resumed my love of travel, by visiting him in France when the carrier pulled into port. We then received orders to Virginia to Norfolk Operations and then to Little Creek for the next orders, both are in Virginia. Again, during that time,we traveled to Spain (twice), Portugal, Gibralter and Morocco. Only once was to visit the ship he was stationed on when it pulled into port. Thankfully, I married a man with wanderlust too!In 2000, my job actually sent me (promoted and transferred) back to Florida, before my husband's orders came to go to Jacksonville again.
