Life I graduated from highschool not knowing what direction I was going. I decided to join the Army which was a great choice. I stayed for 3 years, met my husband and had my daughter. I then moved to NC where I again joined the military as a specialist in the National Guard. I have been there since. I advanced to the rank of Sergeant First Class and have since retired. Great choice, retired at age 41. I also have a son, he is 8 years old and what a joy. My children are my everything. I have since divorced and now that I have retire, I am once again thinking of which direction I want my life to go. I have been working on my education and have just received my AA degree and am looking at going into the nursing field. But with being retired, I can be home more for my son.
