Life
Some of the best ......and worse times of my life were in high school. I cant believe 20 (plus!) years have gone by!
Wow where do I start on my life? I finished that book I was always going to write and became famous, still wear a size five, have a 6 figure income....Oh sorry...that was somebody elses life! LOL! Now for a clearer version of the truth:
I have three beautiful children and I can't help but smile when they end up with the same teachers I had so many years ago! My oldest son is in college, my daughter is in high school and my youngest is in grade school. They are all beautiful but make me crazy like any normal kids do. Over all, I can't complain about them and am proud of them.
I have worn many "hats" in my lifetime and cant wait to see what is around the corner! I owned Sistos Barber Shop which was run by my family for about 60 years. It burned in 1996. ounded in Rome with the help of Paula Hofmann. I now work with disabled people in vocational habilitaion. I do volunteer advocacy for parents and students regarding IEPs. I know many parents arent savvy on their rights and the law regarding learning disabilities and their kids' educations. School seem more than happy to overlook what they are required to do if it costs them money. I help parents who don't know where they stand to find the proper help for their children.
I married my best friend, Dave Morgan, on St Patrick's Day of 2001. We live in a house that was in his family for over 100 years (his mom was born in our very bedroom 90 years ago!). I now have a new stepson - who is cute and
very single! - plus a grand daughter and beautiful grandson as part of the package! I am blessed with a wonderful family and have learned what true friends are. It may have taken 40 years but I have found my niche in life and am loving it.I would love to hear from old friends and catch up on their lives!
