More about Mickey:"God is great. At the age of 31 I have had many experiences in my life. Some were good and some were not so good, all of them God saw me through. I did not get on facebook as soon as most of you did because I knew that I would have a lot of old friends and new friends out there who would know me from different stages of my life. Old churches my dad used to pastor, school friends, college friends, work friends, National Guard buddies, former church members, etc... That is a lot of life to have gone through and I was nervous for people to see what I have become. So here it is.

er want to feel as though I have gotten to a point in my life where I stop seeking Him. He has blessed me with a great past as a carpenter and minister. Both were building things to help people. Carpentry helped me to build schools and homes for people to use, Ministry helped me to build a base for God to use to build on Himself. Some of these jobs I did well and have no regrets, some of these jobs I did not do so well and ask for you forgiveness.
Secondly, I am a man who has been blessed by God with a wonderful wife and three great kids. We met at Union University, love at first sight, and a wonderful 13 years of marriage. We, like all marriages have had up's and down's (more up's). Anyway you look at it God has given us so much over ten years and it has been so great that I look forward to the next 50 with my beautiful wife.
In closing, and to the surprise of many, I graduated from college in the summer of 2008 (a miracle of God if there ever was one). I started my Masters of Divinity work in October and took my commission as a 2LT in the National Guard October 28th.
