Hi Everyone, Not sure how many old friends this will reach, but just curious on how everyone is doing. I live in New Mexico and love it here. I do miss the beaches and smell of the ocean, but I go home now and then. Currently, I am an Assistant Principal at an alternative charter high school. I work with students who have been long-termed suspended, recently discharged from jail, on probation or parole, foster, those at reintegration homes, and those in need of mental health services. We are their last chance for graduation. We work with them as best we can, providing counseling services, etc. I love my job and these kids. I also worked at a juvenile prison for boys for 3 years, in intake, general population and became the Assistant Principal there. I believe that was the best experience of my life. I have been in education for over 28 years and have been a janitor, secretary, school bus driver, and taught almost every subject in grades 1-11.
