More about Mickey:"Well...I'm a transplant to VA from San Diego but I was born in Indiana. I moved around a lot as a kid because my step-father was military. I've seen almost the entire country and I've also been to Mexico and lived in Guam for a short while.
I'm a single father with sole custody of my 14 yr old son named Caleb. Who, I might add is my life, my world, and my soul. It's been just me and him for about 8 yrs. We do a lot together and have a great relationship as father and son but we're also best friends. We fish, play music, skateboard, surf, and a ton of other things together. I love to do charity work. Obviously, I volunteer as a youth football coach but I also like to do other charity events also. I work with local bands and venues to hold benefits concerts with proceeds going to a variety of causes like Susan G. Komen, the ALS Association, MDA, Wounded Warriors, and the Navy SEAL Foundation to name a few.
I love all kinds of music. If makes me tap my foot or nod my head, I like it. To me, music is emotion. It cannot hurt you or turn its back on you and its always there when you need it. Even if its just in your head!! I am a musician(guitar, harmonica, vocals) and play everything from folky, soft rock, country-ish stuff to metal.
I'm not a religious person but I am very spiritual and I'm a strong believer in karma and the zodiac.
I try to treat people the way I want to be treated. I'm not perfect and I don't try to be, however, I do try my best to do the right thing and be the best person I can be...and as of right now, I like this guy!!! I'm always up for having new friends so add me if you'd like but at least introduce yourself when you send a request.".
