Micki's Story

Moved to Az. summer of ‘81 from Michigan., & attended 8th grade at Gridley Middle School, then onto Sahuaro (pg. 243), where my brother Sean (pg. 210) also attended. I left Sahuaro in 10th grade, got my G.E.D. & lived in Az for 10 more yrs. Hitting a dead end I came back to Michigan ...Expand for more
and married the boyfriend I had before we left! Still married 25yrs later with two sweet sons! I love it here but do miss Tucson at times. The smell of Mesquite trees & desert rain, springtime cactus flowers, sunsets, the mountains, hiking Sabino Canyon, and of course my old friends!
