Mickie's Story
Mickie is from Syracuse, New York. She is married with Jim Prendergast. since 1959. Her schools include Roosevelt Jr. High and Syracuse Central High School. She worked for Uncle Ben's, in Houston for 6 years. As credit & Collections Mgr., and moved to Dallas and worked at Freeman Decorating Company in Dallas for 18 years, retiring in 2002
Mickie's interests include her 3 sons, and her 7 grandchildren and her volunteer work in the American Legion Auxiliary, the Dallas VA Hospital and the DFW/USO... Music she likes includes the 50's, and Christian Music... Movies she likes include Ghost, Forrest G...Expand for more

One of Mickie's favorite quotes is:"Lord help me to accept the things I cannot change,change the things I can, and give me the wisdom to know the difference." AND, "Be still and know that I am GOD." AND, the one she raised her children on.... "There is a place for everything, and everything in it's place!".
Mickie and her husband Jim live in the Dallas, Texas area all summer and then in South Texas - where they "winter" at their home in Victoria Palms Resort.
