Life
Well, I left Rogers mid-way through our junior year (1969) so I didn't get a chance to graduate with everyone, but I still have good memories of my days there.
Married for 33 years and counting, to a wonderful woman. Have a son who lives in New Mexico. I retired after 24 yrs. in Law Enforcement.
I am in my 10th year at Payette H.S. Home of the Payette Pirates! Once a Pirate, always a Pirate. I am the Attendance Officer and In-School Suspension Supervisor and a new title, Intervention Specailist. Love the school, kids and staff.
This is where God wanted me to be obviously. 3 minutes to work instead of a 45 minute commute. Bought a house in Payette in 2005, so this really is a great change.
My wife retired after 23 years at a Middle School in Washington as the Librarian. She worked at our church as a Administrative Ministry Assistant and office manager for 9 yrs. and just recently left that position and now is home full time...What a wonderful change for both of us. Now I have her subbing at the high school.. Makes me her boss....at least at work... ;-)
I am playing music again. Took about 27 years o...Expand for more
ff and decided that that was long enough. I was with a contemporary christian group called "To Praise Him" for 6+ years. It is great. Decided that instead of destoying music with just the guitar, I can now do it with the bass, mandolin and banjo... Music will never be the same...but, It was time to move on to other things. Play music with my bother-in-law in Medical Lake when we get up there for visits. That is fun and no pressure.. Jam with friends as time permits. Started playing with couple old band mates recently, call ourselves CRT, Classic Rock Trio. Sounds better than grumpy old guys. Fun to play stuff I played 50 yrs. ago.. Now I really feel old!
Brings back memories of playing at Hamilton, Rogers, then college with those basement and garage bands. Was I really that young once?
Enjoy getting e-mail from other classmates!! contact me if you get a chance would love to reconnect. You can also find me at mmcramer3434 at Yahoo dot com. Also have a Facebook page but don't look at it very often.
Looking forward to reading other Bio's to see what others have been up to. Keep in touch.
Mike
PS: Had a chance to look at he 1969 and 1970 year books. Quite a change for some... Borrowed the books from Patty Vaughn (Morgan). She lives about 45 min. from where I live. That was a nice surprise.
Take care and God bless.
