Mike's Story
Life
I graduated in 86, went into the US Army for 4 years, got married, and left the Army in the middle of Gulf War 1 to enter college and be an officer.
I spent 3 years at the University of Delaware working on a Chemistry degree, stumbled across the Internet, and decided that being an officer wasn't what I wanted. During this time I had my only son, Chris.
Now wanting to be part of the Internet revolution in 1992, I started an ISP back in ...Expand for more
Washington State. My ISP business thrived until I sold it back in 1998 and went to work for Microsoft.
I left Microsoft for the "Internet Bubble" company of Exodus Communications and now work on firewalls around the globe for companies in China, France, the UK, Canada and the US. That company was sold a few times over but still work in the same field.
I've been married for 15 years or so now. After the first 5, you start to lose count. =P
