Mike's Story
Life
From CHHS, I went to the US Naval Academy; only stayed long enough to learn a lot, some of it more than I wanted to know. From there I went to Hill Jr College in Hilsburo and then to South West Texas State in San Marcos were I received a Bachelors in Physics. While at Hill Jr College, and through out our college years, I dated and then married Janie Childress (dating 5 yrs). I joined her at Baylor to finish our courtship and work on a Masters. ts in Feb 1978 and married Janie in Oct1978. We addopted a girl and boy through Buchner's. Our daughter Jennifer is now 18 and on her own. Our son Jared is entering Wylie HS this year. We live in Wylie Tx. After 23 years w/ TI I was "retired"; worked for Praxair, and DRS IR Tech, but was caught in reductions at both places. Still looking since Nov 2003!!. Janie is the pianist at First Baptist Wylie and will be a teacher (after 8 years of substitute teaching) in WISD as an intermediate school choir teacher.
