Mike Clark:  

I was born in Los Angeles in 1951, and was living in Garden Grove while at Pacifica. My activities at school including being on the Water Polo team (I was on the "C" team), and I belonged to the Chess Club. I wasn't particularly active on campus (was not among the "cool kids", as it were), but I enjoyed my time at Pacifica and have fond memories of my time there. I was Class of 1969, but because of my father's employment my family moved to Toronto, Canada in 1967. I attended what was then called North Albion Collegiate Institute (NACI) in Etobicoke and very much enjoyed my time there. In 1969 we moved to England, also because of my father's employment. I ended up "graduating" (they don't call it that) from a British school in 1971. In that year I returned to the US. I spent 1972 to 1974 in Germany, serving as a full-time missionary for my church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (aka Mormons). So I now speak German!
