Mike's Story
Life
I studied Electrical Engineering at Rose-Hulman. After graduating college, I moved to Maryland to work for Westinghouse. Survived two layoffs, and an acquisition by Northrop Grumman. I now work for a university research laboratory.
Fourteen years ago, I married a local woman, which makes me an official Marylander. After living in the same house for 11 years, we've moved, and have been updating/renovating/redoing ever since.
We enjoy travelling, and hope to complete our "collection" of all 50 states soon.
School

uiet in high school - it led perfectly into being a nerd in college (see the Electrical Engineering reference in the life bio). I was on the swim team, which is about the only attempt at athleticism then or since.
I loved math & science (see the Electrical Engineering). Hutch was definitely my favorite teacher (and bested even most of my college profs).
Would I do it again? It didn't suck, if that's what they mean. I wish I hadn't been so shy back then, however.
Military
Since I had to pay for college, I never entered the military.
