Mike's Story
Life
Upon graduation from MacArthur High ("Big Mac"), I attended Eastern Illinois University, then spent 4 years in the USAF. After my discharge, the next 20 years were spent in MD, near Annapolis - 1/4 mile from the Chesapeake Bay (absolutely grand)! These last several years found me leaving MD for CO (92-93), then to TX for a few years (94-98) and again back to the High Country in Denver (98-present). My travels we...Expand for more
re not only induced by business transfers, but also by romantic entanglements! During the Eighties I made enough money playing music -- gigging up & down the East Coast from NJ to VA -- to "buy Miami & I pissed it all away," to paraphrase Jimmy Buffet! Also, with my writing partner, Harry Spain, we released a cassette (later a CD) in 1990 entitled, "Mystic Blues." I had the foresight NOT to give up my day-job (yet)!
