Came back to Corsicana and married Sue Gray and returned to the UT School of Architecture. Both of us ended up working as houseparents in RTC/Psych Hospital. After bicycle auto accident (I was on the bike) interupted architecture studies worked full time with disturbed kids. Group home parents with Sue and Pat joined us after his contruction company floundered at South Padre Island during recession in the early 70's. ter I married Yvette, a Southern Belle who grew up in Charleston, S.C. and we've been going strong ever since. Kari is married with a beautiful 7y.o. Kate and her husband Marc. She teaches the first grade in the Leander I.S.D. just north of Austin. Pat and I ran a foster care and adoption agency in Austin for almost 15 years and we now work for A World for Children in Round Rock which is one of the largest FC and adoption agencies in the state with 11 offices in Texas. I have ended up spending my whole adult life in child welfare and beavioral health. Still find time to enjoy family, sports (Hook'M) music, the blues, Willie's 4th of July Picnic, dancing and I'm part of a semi-pro sand sculpting team called the San Marcos Suns and have started doing some professional sand sculpting gigs.. I've had a great life, lots of adventures, backpacking and wilderness camping with Juvenile probation kids, mountain climbing, have run 4 marathons. Still look forward to new adventures. I do alot of advocacy work at the state Capitol on child welfare issues and enjoy being part of the political process. Aunt Louise died in 86' so I don't go back to Corsicana much but often think fondly of the friends and experiences that helped shape my character.".
